Shutter with midrail
This home office is given a style boost with the installation of these off white cream coloured midrail shutters. Perfect to help with an office environment as they can be easily controlled to let in light, to stop people looking into the room, and generally aid concentration and help minimise distractions from outside. This office is also enhanced as there is far less clutter in the room with interior shutters rather than using net curtains and curtain combinations. Get the clean lines in a home office which suit your working environment with custom plantation shutters. Another solution for this room might have been cafe shutters however we felt that the customer made an inspired choice with these tier on tier shutters which fill the whole height of the window. Using clever design tactics for interiors we have not only opened up the room and created a new style, but also offered a less busy environment ideal for the working space.
This photograph really shows off the aspect of the light falling into the room and gives a great idea of how light is transformed with shutters. With curtains it’s much a case of either there is light or there isn’t but that is the opposite of shutters where the user can choose exactly how much light to let into a room by simply tilting the louvers. In this case the customer chose to have front exposed tilt rods which help with grabbing from the desk top working position.
